Victor Moses hopes his goal in the 2-0 FA Cup fourth-round win over Bournemouth can help kick-start his Liverpool career.
Moses, who is on-loan from Chelsea, had
not scored for Brendan Rodgers’ side since the 2-2 draw with Swansea in
September having found opportunities at Anfield just as hard as at his
parent club.
But he is determined to capitalise on a
promising display on the south coast and force his way into Rodgers’
thinking for Premier League duties.
“It was really important. I know I
haven’t been myself for the past few weeks but I just want to kick on
from here and try to get a few more goals in the second half of the
season. It’s crucial for me and the club as well,” he told his club’s
website.
