Mikel Obi has told MTNFootball.com he
wants to win his second EPL title, but admitted it would be tough as any of the
top four teams could be
champions.
The Nigeria midfielder’s first EPL crown was
achieved in the 2009/10 season, when Chelsea won a league and cup double.
For current season, Chelsea are top of the league
with 56 points, Arsenal have 55 points while Manchester City are on 54 points as the title race
promises to go down to the wire.
“The league is tough at this point and the title
race is wide open now, any of the top four teams could win it. Chelsea on top
of the table is sweet and I wish we stay there till season’s end,” the
26-year-old Mikel said.
“My target is to win the league, and even though
we are on top, nothing has been won yet.
“The victories against Manchester United and
Manchester City were good for us because we took points off our rivals. “We
will take the games as they come and go for victory.”
