Drake Denies Taking Shots at Kanye West, Fires Back at Rolling Stone

Drake isn’t too happy today. In a series of angry tweets, the rapper claims he never commented on Kanye West‘s ‘Yeezus’ during a Rolling Stone interview despite quotes that suggest otherwise. In addition, he reveals he will no longer do magazine interviews after this incident.

The comment in question is a quote that hit the Internet regarding lyrics ‘Yeezus,’ particularly those in ‘I’m In It.’ “There were some real questionable bars on there. Like that ‘Swaghili‘ line? Come on, man,” he says before throwing even more shade. “Even Fabolous wouldn’t say some s— like that.”

The ‘Nothing was the Same’ creator later goes on to praise West in the interview: “Kanye’s the reason why I’m here. I love everything about that guy.”

The Toronto star started his rant early this morning (Feb. 13) and didn’t fire off at just Rolling Stone, but also press in general. He also gave his respects to recently deceased actor Phillip Seymour Hoffman, who landed on the Rolling Stone cover that was initially set to feature Drake.
